Timber Quality and Grading
Not all timber is treated the same way, and the right treatment class matters for how long your project lasts. Treated pine is commonly supplied in H3 (above-ground, weather exposed) and H4 (in-ground contact) durability classes; our treated sleepers and posts are H4 rated for ground contact. Hardwood posts are supplied in Class 1 to 2 durability ratings, suited to structural and fencing use.
